Power Steering Cooler

After some research, the guys that slide their car in events reported the power steering acting up because of the boiling liquid gets on a hot day and abuse on the track. One way to eliminate that from happening is by adding a power steering cooler to help cool down the liquid from boiling and prevent it from wearing out the power steering pump.

New ISIS Dual Exhaust

After 5 year holding on to the Apexi Dual exhaust with rusted out mufflers and broken hangers, it was time to replace it. I was searching around for a good exhaust that is a bit different from the rest of the standard exhaust in the market and affordable. I ran into a group buy with Enjuku Racing and decide to jump on this deal. I manage to be one of the first group of people to get are hands on this exhaust. I will say that this is not a Daily Driver friendly exhaust. It's one of the loudest exhaust I've hear for the S Chassis. I can't wait to hear this baby out on the track ripping the gears going sideways.....Big Thanks to Ken@Enjukuracing.com

Fenders Rolled

So I picked up some new wheels and being that the specs on the wheels are a bit aggressive on a s13, I decide to call up my homie Sam aka "Legendori Team", and have him roll the fenders. I went over his crib in the afternoon, and with my luck it started to rain. Heating up fenders and cool weather doesn't mix. Sam still manage to roll both rear fenders in this type of weather. He definitely did an amazing job on them. I need to hit him up to do a pull in the rear so I can run a wider tire in the back. Enjoy.....

The Corolla from Hell

Well.....My buddy Pedro need to fix his sister's car because she travels to Tampa and back every other weekend. So It was time to do a tune up on the car at another one of my buddy's shop (Thanks Jef). We manage to replace the timing belt, Water pump, Spark plugs, Radiator fluids, Powering steering fluid, Brake pads, Brake fluids, etc. We started at 5:00pm and we didn't finish til about 4:00am after running into all the possible problems you can run into in a car. This thing must of be possessed because of all the problems, but we manage to work throught it and get it up and running. Time to shower and go to sleep......

AMS Turbo240sx Manifold

Well....after a few months of dealing with the log manifold, I decide it was time to upgrade to an equal length manifold since the log was cracking, and having exhaust leaks like crazy. I was searching around for a manifold that will be reliable and efficient, and make power. I couldn't pass up on a good deal on this manifold. This manifold definitely will get me more power and help with it be a bottom mount setup. Enjoy.............

UCF Car Show Meet

So I was hearing about this big show UCF was hosting at Waterford lakes and decide to take Project 240sx out there and enjoy the show. I wasn't going to put the car in the show but a few of my buddies convince me to do it. At the end of the day....I manage to get 2nd place Nissan out of all the other 240sx , 350z, and Sentra. Not a bad day........

Lollicup Meet

I decided to take the car out for the weekend and hit up Lollicup for some Boba and enjoy Dj Rincon spinning the tracks at the meet. Manage to get a picture of my car will there. Their will be many pictures to come as the shows and events keep coming.

Project 240sx Continues.......Dyno

Well...I finally get the car started after a year of building the car. The car idled really good, but I did notice that I could smell alittle bit of oil at start up. I know its not the motor because I just build it but figure something was up with the tune. I decided to call up Martin Struk XAT Racing now at (Z-Fever) and convince me to bring the car in to make sure Enthalpy's Rom Tune was working right. So I decide to take a trip to Tampa at XAT Racing (RIP). Martin managed to put the car on the dyno and make sure it was tune to perfection. It turns out that the smell I was smelling at the house was due to a very lean A/F the car had it was about 17 to 18 A/R! Yeah....so he ran th car on the dyno and manage to do a few pulls in the 240sx. The car dynoed at 333rwhp 342ftq at 13psi! that is crazy torque right there.lol On the bad note....I had a rear main seal leak which cause my clutch to go and the dyno day to end early. Time to head back to O-Town and fix the leak and put in the new Competition stage 4 clutch!

Project 240sx Continues.......

Finally the car is starting to look alive for once. After installing everything I had to under the car the only thing that was missing was none other the the Apexi Dual N1 Exhaust in the rear. I also install the rear tail lights that were nicely cleaned and polish to go with the car. Being that the car is going to be running alittle on the rich side. I just got the car painted and I really don't want to have the back bumper full of black smoke. I decide to make a custom Heat shield to cover the rear bumper not only from heat from the Exhaust but to protect the brand new paint. You are also thinking what the hell is that on the back panel, well that is battery cut off switch. The purpose of the switch is so when you run your car at the track, in case of a crash someone can shut off the power to the car and avoid any electrical fire and other hazard.

Project 240sx Continues.......

This was by far the best memory I have on this Project car. 1 Year ago, I decided to add the factory wing to the car to make it look more aggressive. I purchase the wing from a junkyard located in California "Ebay".Lol All the paperwork went through and it was on its way to my house. The guy sent me the tracking number of the wing and I was expecting it to come on a friday. Friday finally shows up and by the end of the day no Wing!! I called Fed Ex and found out they delivered it to another house which was about 5 miles away. Thanks to my two friends Pedro and Yes the one and only DDE aka Ed. So we get in the car and head over to the house and saw the wing in front of the house next to the garage.
Being how Ed is " El Presidente", He decided to put his life in danger to go rescue the Wing. He ran and jump so high in the air to avoid any type of Land mines, gun shots, and grenades. Ed finally rescue the wing and started running like if the was no tomorrow before the enemy finds out they were missing the wing . So yeah, finally I have the Honor to place the wing on the car and if it wasn't for Ed I would of had no Wing. Thanks Ed!!!!!

Project 240sx Continues.......

Wow, it has been a good few weeks that I have been working on droping in the motor and finally the car is starting to look together. I drop the motor, bolted up to the differential, and started to run all the ECU, Body wiring to where its got to go. I also bolted up the intercooler with the custom piping as you can see in the picture. I also bolted up the koyo radiator as it is mounted with the flex-lite fans to cool it down.Well, I finally get fuel!!LOL I manage to install the walbro 255 fuel pump. It took some time as I pulled the old one and clean the parts and reinstall the new pump.

Project 240sx Continues.......

Now with the engine bay clean and ready to drop the motor in, I decided to work on the rear differential before messing with the motor. It makes it easier to do it this way then the other way around. So, I cleaned up and put new fluid in the rear and added alittle signature to it to let people know that I install the diff.LOL I also went ahead and install the Tein inner and outter Tie rods with the KTS Pillow arm with it.

Project 240sx Continues.......

Well after being in the shop for 4 months at the body shop , I finally got the car back. The car came out good, and it finally looks like a brand new car now. I was in between White or Red and decide to go with a Aztec Red from th 92 300zx. I'm glad I pick Red because White gets to dirty quickly and theirs not alot of Red 240sx in the area so....you will know its my car. I added alittle of my touch in the paint as it has Gold and Silver Pearl in the clear coat to give it that unique look in the car. Now comes the good part of getting the car back, Cleaning!!!!!! I started By vacuum all the dirt and over spray that the car has that the guy didn't cover. It was a while to get it cleaned up But I did it. After cleaning it, it was time to touch up the little things such as the brake lines, cross member, brake booster, and radiator support.

Project 240sx Continues.......

I finally get to see how the turbo will look on my newly fresh built motor. The motor is alittle dirty right now but it will look good after a little clean up. Also put the Tial 38mm Wastegate and JGS manifold as well with the Turbo. I continued to work hard on finish up the motor to drop it on the car. The car is still in the body shop and I'm expecting the car back in a few days. Here you see me finishing up what is left to put on the motor before seeing it go in the car. In the picture below you see me working on putting the power sterring on the motor before put the belts on the motor.

Project 240sx Continues.......

I manage to put in the Head Studs, Timing chain, the Head Gasket, and the Port and polished Head. It was a pain in the butt to get the timing chain in and align to make sure it is on point. The hardest part and most time I spend was to make sure I get the timing of the motor right . I manage to spray the Head Gasket with a Copper Seal. This assure that the Metal gasket won't leak coolant on me. I made sure I torque everything to manual specs. As the project continues, I manage to put the timing cover on as well as the intake manifold with all the Emissions remove from the motor i.e EGR. All the other stuff such as valve cover, waterpump, alternator bracket and the underdrive pulley (I will tighten when its in the car).

Project 240sx Continues.......

I sent my motor to one of the best machine shop in the Central FL area Twister Racing. I had them do the whole 9 yards with my motor starting with the block being Bored .20mm over for the beautiful 9:1 Supertech pistons with the Crower Rods. I also had the Head Port & Polish with a 5 angle valve job with supertech Valves, springs and Retainers. The crankshaft was also Balanced and Polished as well with the Spec Stage 5 clutch. It took about 3 weeks after some back and forth with the machine shop due to 1 missing retainer from Supertech. Other then that, everything when smooth as plan and the parts look really good. I got started on the Short block assembly of the motor when I got back home. I Lube up the Bearings before putting in the crankshaft. I Torque down the crankshaft to the manual specification. After that I had to compress the piston rings before lightly tap them in place. I tighten up the rods to the crankshaft to manual specification. I'm super tired after a few hours making sure everything is tighten to spec and I didn't forget anything. I can't wait to beat up on this motor and not worry about my internals.

Project 240sx Continues.......

After 3 months of looking around for a Silvia front end, I manage to get one at a great deal. After two hours of traveling back and forth, I finally have the front end. After cleaning up the parts, like the hood, bumper ,and fenders, I put the front end on the car to see alittle preview of how it will look when it's done. Definitely looks alot better then the good old Flip up lights. The car came with a blue interior and the dash was crack and looked really bad. I decided that I'm going to make the interior all in black so it can match the color I'm going to paint the Car (haven't decided yet). It took me about an hour to strip the whole interior of the car. I also remove things in the car that I was not going to need.

Project 240sx Continues.......

After many days of thinking what I'm going to power this car, I decided to go with a KA24de for the project 240sx. The motor that is in the car right now is a SOHC and is blown. The KA24de is going to be a more powerful and efficient way to go instead of the boring Sr20det motors that everyone in their mothers want to swap. Finally had time to get down and dirty to remove the motor from the car. After pulling out the motor, things started to get alot easier as the days went on. I decided to go ahead and do a "Silvia" front end conversion on the car so I had to take out the front end of the car to make way of the new front end. After pulling the front end, I went ahead and clean the rest of the things inside the engine bay to get ready for paint. Man, this is not easy work.

Project 240sx Begins

I finally found the car that I wanted for a long time and it's time for me to begin one of my dreams. Thanks to a close friend of my Brother, I manage to pick up a 240sx for a good price. The car manage to come with a few aftermarket parts such as rims, exhaust, lowering springs ,and a nice radio. Its going to be a long year before I finish what is going to be one of the fastest and cleanest 240sx in town!!!!! Here is a picture of the car:
